Health Form

Starting in 2010 a new health form is required to attend long term (more than 72 hours) camping events.  These new forms also reflect the new policy that everyone must have had a physical within 12 months of any given long term event.  These changes also reflect changes in local laws that have the same requirement.  Click here for an annual Health Form with physical (required for all long term camping starting in 2010). Philmont 2010

Units must register far in advance to go to Philmont in 2010.  Philmont is "the" high adventure for many scouts.  Ten days of backpacking in the mountains requires a strong team.  Everyone who goes will return a better leader, scout, hiker, and camper.

There are two ways to go to Philmont.  You can go with the Northern Star council contingent or you can send your own unit's crew(s).  Individual units sign up via a web interface and are entered in a lottery for the available space.  You may enter the lottery any time from 10/27 - 11/2 or during the open registration week, 11/24 - 11/30.

Click here for registration forms and information.
